Unusual Indian Clubs Found Near Ipswich
Indian clubs with two rings around it seems very rare. J. W. Parmley has a perfect one imbedded in the fire place in his house. It was found in Adrian Township by Will Kimmitt and given to Mr. Parmely. In the same locality another with two perfect rings was found by Charles Peterson when grading a road through the Swalve slough. It was a foot and a half below the surface but imbedded in black soil of the slough. It is possible that in that locality a tribe existed that were somewhat different in civilizat...
