Officers Seize Rum Runner After Chase

At about three o’clock last Saturday afternoon, information was given to the Sheriff’s office by States Attorney Louis H. Tschirley that a rum runner was parked in a Model A Ford car out at the Mike Sporer Jr. farm, two and one half miles west and one half mile north of Ipswich. The States Attorney requested that the sheriff’s force make an investigation.
