Ipswich/Bowdle wrestlers competed in the Bob Lager Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Miller on Jan. 11.

Philip/Kadoka Area/Wall won the meet, Bon Homme/Avon was second. Ipswich/Bowdle had four points.

120: Weston Weisser received a bye; lost by fall to Pommer-Clark/Willow Lake (:46); lost by fall to Dunsmore-Wessington Springs/ Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington (0:45)

138: Ryder Berninghaus lost by fall to Schafer-Miller/Highmore-Harrold (0:23); lost by tech fall to Understock-Redfield (15-0)

144: Gunnar Knittel lost by fall to Zens-Redfield (2:41); lost by fall to Rand-Parker (3:48)

175: Justin Rohrbach received a bye; lost by major decision to Kramer-Parkston (MD 13-2); received a bye; lost by decision to Hardt-Sioux Valley (4-2); won by fall over Rodriguez-Parkston (2:10) for seventh place, four team points

The I/B team will compete in the Potter County Battler Wrestling Tournament on Jan. 18.
