More than 3,900 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the fall 2024 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the dean's list.
To earn dean's list distinctions in SDSU's colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Overall, 3,901 students from 40 states and 32 foreign nations are on the list. More than 1,600 students received a 4.0 GPA.
Local distinguished scholars on earning this academic achievement include:
• Ipswich: Kathleen Graham, William Kadlec (4.0 GPA), Baylee Kulesa (4.0 GPA), Quincy Olivier
• Mina: Morgan Browning (4.0 GPA), Wesley Kirkham, Ashlyn Weig
• Roscoe: Kirsten Anderson (4.0 GPA), Claire Beyers (4.0 GPA), Emma Beyers (4.0 GPA)
Founded in 1881, South Dakota State University is the state's Morrill Act land-grant institution as well as its largest, most comprehensive school of higher education. SDSU confers degrees from seven different colleges representing more than 230 majors, minors and specializations. The institution also offers 38 master's degree programs, 16 Ph.D. and two professional programs.
